LA JOLLA, CA – The team behind Voyeur de la Jeunesse, a short film that was shot entirely in the Boston area, was recognized with the “Best Creative Concept” at the 12th annual La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival.

The festival, which was held from July 23-25, is considered to be the Cannes of the fashion film world. More than 700 films were accepted to this year’s festival with 75 films ultimately nominated for awards by 50 judges located around the world.

styleboston creator Terri Stanley is the executive producer of a short film Voyeur de la Jeunesse, which was directed by creative director Cheryl Neeson. The film, which is just over four minutes long tells the story of “an older woman, who feels invisible, longs for her youth only to realize it will always be part of who she is now. She’s never lost it.”

“Our creative team is thrilled to be recognized among so many talented filmmakers,” Stanley said, “and we are excited to continue working together on films that resonate with an audience.”

The La Jolla festival also marked the film’s premiere.
